Come enjoy a 1 hour tour of A Thrasher's Farm with us. You'll get to see our greenhouse where we grow lots of house plants, vegetable plants, ferns, banana trees, and lots more. We'll also tour the high tunnel where we grow lots of seasonal fresh vegetables. Check out our thornless blackberry patch with a novel RCA trellising system as well as our 4 acre fishing pond. We'll also discuss our solar photovoltaic system where we generate the majority of our electricity for the farm. We'll also show you our latest chicken egg layer coop where we've automated much of the process. You'll also get to visit our new farm store where we have lots of local food products, jams, jellies, salsas, syrups, salad dressings, ciders, chow chows, milk and dairy products, and beef processed from steers raised right here on the farm. And of course you can get a glimpse of the cows out in the pasture. Farm tours are currently available any time during normal store open hours and on weekdays by appointment only.
